The team of Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins established themselves as one of the top teams in all of WWE. The Street Profits gained a fandom thanks to their great in-ring skills. It seems they are grateful about competing against the likes of Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton.

On the other hand, Randy Orton’s contributions to WWE cannot be understated as he has been one of the mainstays of the company for almost twenty years now. Orton went on to solidify himself as one of the greatest Superstars in the company’s history.

The Street Profits squared off against Rey and Dominik Mysterio on the December 27th episode of Monday Night RAW. They also faced Team RK-Bro at WWE Day 1 for the RAW Tag Team Titles.

While speaking with Alex McCarthy of TalkSPORT, The Street Profits talked about having the opportunity to square off against Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton. They made it clear that for them, it was simply a surreal experience and similar to a real-life video game.

“I don’t want to make them sound old, but to grow up and watch and idolise these guys and to now compete against them is mind blowing, man. It’s not only something that you don’t expect to happen, but when it does happen, it’s like surreal. It’s a real-life video game. Just to be around them to gain knowledge of how they maneuver, their techniques, the pacing, the patience they have… it’s a blessing man,” Ford said.

I feel like wrestling those guys is very helpful to us because they have so much knowledge to give. And, they’re willing to give it and we’re willing to listen. They’re open to our ideas as well and to get that reception and for them to take us under their wing and stuff, it’s crazy,” said Dawkins.

We will have to wait and see whether The Street Profits will end up defeating The Alpha Academy for the RAW Tag Team Titles somewhere down the line or not.
