Riddick Moss had been working in NXT for the majority of his career until he was called up to the main roster. He eventually aligned himself with Happy Corbin and is now known as Madcap Moss. It seems the backstage reaction to his recent has been revealed.

Madcap Moss competed against Drew McIntyre at WWE Elimination Chamber in Saudi Arabia. During the match he suffered a horrific bump as Moss landed right on his head.

Many fans expected the worst after the bump but it was said that Moss was fine. According to Fightful Select, there was no heat on either wrestler after the botched spot.

The spot occurred when Moss tucked his chin on a spot that he was supposed to take flat. There was no heat on either wrestler.  Those we spoke to said that Drew McIntyre is well regarded for being a safe worker, and was very concerned for Moss. Those that we heard back from could tell it wasn’t an error on his part.

It was said that Drew McIntyre is regarded as a safe worker and no one backstage blamed him for the botch. Moss himself also reassured the referee, McIntyre and Happy Corbin that he was doing okay as well.

Moss also apologized to Vince McMahon, Drew McIntyre and agents for the slip up as they all went over the move. We are certainly glad Moss is doing okay and it remains to be seen what is next in store for him.
