Tony Khan’s Massive AEW Announcement Likely Isn’t A New Signing

AEW Dynamite debuted back in October 2019 and since then has worked hard to provide an alternate product to what fans see in WWE. For the most part, they have succeeded, but there is still lot of room for improvement.

There is no doubt that AEW has a very deep and diverse roster of talented in-ring performers from all over the world, incorporating various styles of pro wrestling. The company continues to sign more and more talents that serve their purpose.

AEW President Tony Khan recently stated that he will make a huge announcement about the company soon. Due to this, many fans have been wondering what Khan has planned.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, he heard that Tony Khan is very excited about the announcement. Meltzer added that the announcement could be a business deal.

“I know whatever it was it was not a done deal on Thursday, because he was still doing meetings on it, so but, he was excited. He did say it was a big deal. I didn’t sense it was a guy, but more like a business deal. Not sure if it’s new content or a television deal overseas. I didn’t get the sense that he’s putting together some giant signing.”

We will have to wait and see what Tony Khan has planned for AEW’s future as fans are certainly excited about the upcoming announcement.à
