Lita Compares Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair Rivalry To Herself & Trish Stratus

Prior to Trish Stratus and Lita tearing it up in the ring and redefining what it meant to be a female performer in WWE back in the day, female WWE talents were seen as mere eye candy. Despite that, Stratus and Lita paved the way for future female talents as well.

As many fans are aware by now, Charlotte Flair got into verbal confrontation with Becky Lynch last year on Smackdown. This was preceded by the two throwing their titles at each other during the title exchange, which was not part of the script.

Becky Lynch already opened up about the backstage confrontation with Charlotte Flair. Charlotte Flair also previously stated that she feels like the only adult in her feud with Becky Lynch.

While speaking to Ring The Belle, Lita talked about her iconic rivalry with Trish Stratus. She then compared Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair’s rivalry to her and Trish Stratus’ rivalry.

“(Charlotte Flair) is more to me like Trish. Right? Like very, like, dedicated in this way that she’s regimented and like, you know, like, Charlotte was supposed to succeed, right? Like Trish was supposed to succeed. They both not only do the work but the extra credit work. Like, they’re just like eat sleep train 24/7 right? But Becky was more — she wasn’t supposed to make it. She was like bartending in New York and had a wild journey to get to where she was. Stars just aligned, she seized the opportunity, and that’s more how I see my journey.”

Lita is also working very hard for her upcoming match against Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s Championship at WWE Elimination Chamber on February 19th. It remains to be seen how Lita will fare in the highly anticipated match.
