AJ Lee’s influence in the pro wrestling world cannot be understated. After CM Punk made his debut in AEW last year, many fans wanted AJ Lee to follow suit and join her husband. It seems she is not sure about making an in-ring return.

AJ Lee’s success story in WWE is certainly a remarkable one, to say the least as she is given credit for helping to jumpstart the WWE’s Women’s Revolution. She left pro wrestling back in 2015 but finally made her return earlier last year.

While speaking to Freddie Prinze Jr on iHeart Radio’s Wrestling With Freddie, AJ Lee revealed that she has a few opportunities to make it back to the squared circle. However, AJ Lee added that she isn’t sure about having the fire in order to make a return to the ring.

”Wrestling opportunities have popped up over the years and I’ve never been ready for that. I’m not sure if physically, the fire is there, but the art of it has always been there. When I was a fan, the women were my favorite part of the show and I would skip the guys matches to watch the ladies.”

Lee had signed on with Women of Wrestling last year, which is expected to make its debut in the fall of 2022. We will have to wait and see how AJ Lee will fare in her role as an executive producer and commentator for Women of Wrestling.
