Pictures from the taping made it to social media the other day. One particular photo shows the NXT: Level Up ring. The elevated sides of the ring have the show’s colorful logo on them.

“Instead of 205 Live, WWE are slated to tape the first episode of NXT: Level Up prior to tonight’s NXT Vengeance Day live broadcast in Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center. We are told the episode is slated to be 60 minutes long.”

The decision to ingrain 205 Live into NXT has been in the making for months. Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer had stated in December 2021 that the top management did not want smaller wrestlers to become champion and came up with a new show to replace 205 Live.
