Many fans expected to see some sort of resolution on this week’s Dynamite between Moxley and Danielson. Then Moxley worked as a mystery tag team partner for CM Punk against FTR instead. The ultimatum will be addressed on AEW TV this week, it just wasn’t shown to the audience.

On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about a segment that was taped without the knowledge of the fans. Moxley and Danielson did tape an interview, vignette, or other type of angle that will likely air on Friday’s Rampage. It’s still up in the air what Mox will decide.

“On Rampage, they did nothing before, in front of the audience, but there was something that was taped that the audience didn’t see, because they didn’t want the audience to see it, and it does have to do with Danielson and Moxley. They did advertise the Danielson promo, so that’s the segment. I don’t know what happened at the segment, but if it was going to end up in a match, that would be the match. If they were going to end up as a tag team, you know, maybe there’s something there. There’s also the ladder match.”

This adds some real intrigue to Friday night’s episode of Rampage. Fans will likely find out the direction the Danielson – Moxley storyline will take. There are a number of enticing options that Tony Khan has to choose from. We’ll find out on Friday night which one he prefers.
