Vince McMahon is the Chairman of WWE and oversees everything that goes on in the company, right down to the most minute of details. McMahon is larger than life and is known to do the craziest of things, many of which are true. It seems Jake Roberts ripped him recently as well.
On the other hand, WWE Hall Of Famer Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts has been working in AEW for quite a while now. Since his debut, he has had a great time in the company. He started out by managing Lance Archer and the partnership has proved to be huge success.
While speaking on the DDP Snake Pit podcast, Jake Roberts talked about working with Vince McMahon. He proceeded to rip Vince McMahon for trying to humiliate and break people’s spirits.
“One thing Vince McMahon did that just made me want to throw up is when you got ready to leave, or if you really wanted that job, he wanted to humiliate you,” Roberts recalled. “He wanted to break your spirit and that’s just f*cking wrong, man. Look at Terry Taylor. That’s, you know, that’s my only b*tch about Vince. Yeah, he screwed me over some money, yeah he could’ve done this, yeah he could’ve done that, that’s okay. But when you try to break a man’s spirit and try to humiliate him, why?”
Jake Roberts continues to be by Lance Archer’s side as Archer is set to challenge Adam Page for the AEW World Championship in a Texas Death Match on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. We will have to wait and see how Lance Archer will perform in the match.
