Ember Moon Opens Up About Working With Shotzi In WWE

Ember Moon was one of the mainstays of WWE NXT television as far as the women’s division is concerned. This happened after she was repackaged following a subpar run on the main roster. It seems she opened up about her partnership with Shotzi as well.

It was said that Ember Moon had dental surgery which had kept her out of WWE NXT television for so long. In the end, Ember Moon was released by WWE last year, much to the shock of fans and pro wrestlers alike.

Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart were one of the top teams in NXT as they eventually defeated NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez to become champions themselves.

While speaking with Highspots Wrestling Network, Ember Moon opened up about working with Shotzi Blackheart in NXT. Moon made it clear she loved working with Blackheart.

“I feel like my time with Shotzi was probably like just some of the happiest moments I’ve ever been [a part of] because she’s a prankster like me. I remember when she took over the NXT Instagram, I just like would — we just had fun. We were like two little kids, amongst, I don’t know, adults. Just like, ‘Oh, oh, you know what’d be cool? We should go and prank this person. You know what’d be cool? If we do this.’ We just had a good vibe and and we immediately bonded because of our love of Pumpkinhead baby, if you know who Pumpkinhead is.”

Ember Moon is also grateful for her opportunity in WWE. Thunder Rosa also recently stated that she really wants a match against Ember Moon. Even Eric Bischoff was surprised by Ember Moon’s release. We will have to wait and see if Ember Moon will ever make her way to AEW and face off against Thunder Rosa.
