Nia Jax Claims She Was In An Abusive Relationship With WWE

Nia Jax was one of the mainstays of WWE television since she was called up to the main roster in 2016. She is former RAW Women’s Champion and a two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion.

Nia Jax was last seen on the September 20th edition of Monday Night RAW where Shayna Baszler took her out. Many fans wondered when she would return to WWE television, but that will no longer happen as Jax was released by WWE last year.

While speaking on The Sessions with Renee Paquette, Nia Jax talked about her time in WWE and she claimed that she was in an abusive relationship wit the company, adding that it felt like Stockholm Syndrome.

It’s scary to say but I feel really good. Like, happy. It’s almost like Stockholm Syndrome. I was in this crazy, almost slightly abusive relationship with a company. But also good, there are good parts to it. But now it’s done. I kind of get to be myself again, which I haven’t been in a long time. So I feel good, but it’s also just a scary party where you’re like ‘okay, who is Lina now that she’s not Nia Jax?’”

The former WWE Superstar stated that she is done with pro wrestling for good after her release, which led to many fans rejoicing as well. Booker T also sympathized with her wanting to retire. We will have to see what is next in store for her.
