CM Punk Explains Why He Can’t Stick To One Ring Gear In AEW

CM Punk’s debut at AEW Rampage: The First Dance last year will forever go down in history as one of the best debuts of all time. Since then Punk has already become one of the highlights of AEW television. It seems he explained a major thing recently.

The Second City Saint has engaged in feuds with the likes of Darby Allin, Eddie Kingston and other pro wrestlers. Throughout his run in AEW, CM Punk has changed up his ring gear, sometimes wearing shorts while other times he wore long tights.

While speaking with Abe Kanan of Rock 95.5 in Chicago, CM Punk talked about hiring gear in AEW and explained why it is so difficult for him to decide what to wear and stick to one thing.

“I didn’t like the way they looked on me, they were a bad cut. I’m still struggling with how I look in gear and everything. That’s a process, trying to find the right material and the right cut for trunks and for long boys. It’s a process, man.”

CM Punk lost to MJF on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite in the critically lauded match. It remains to be seen what is next in store for Punk now that his feud with MJF might be over.
