Adam Scherr was a major star in WWE under the name Braun Strowman. While with the company, he was even Universal Champion. The Monster Among Men has since moved on to join EC3 and Karrion Kross in the Control Your Narrative stable.
The idea of CYN is to form a group of independent wrestlers who want control over their fate. They’ve even run some shows under the name. It sounds like Adam Scherr is hoping to add a big name to the faction.
In a recent Instagram post, The Titan sent a direct invitation to Shane McMahon to join CYN. Scherr included a photo of himself and Shane dangling from a steel cage. Ringside News had previously reported exclusively that Shane had been quietly let go by WWE after a disastrous Royal Rumble event.

Control Your Narrative is filled with wrestlers who feel like they haven’t received a fair shake in the business. Shane McMahon might share some of those sentiments. There’s no indication that he’s been thinking of going independent at this time.
Adam Scherr has no problem welcoming a kindred spirit into the fold. It isn’t likely that Shane McMahon has any interest right now, but we’ll see. It never hurts to ask!
