Cesaro Was Disappointed About Not Appearing In The Royal Rumble

The Royal Rumble 2022 was a sight to see as Many fan favorite WWE Superstars appeared on it. Fans of the Swiss Superman Cesaro missed him as he was not part of the 30-men match.

Cesaro was in a conversation with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated. When he was asked about if he was disappointed for not being in the Royal Rumble, Cesaro replied in the affirmative.

Yes, I was. A lot of people would have liked to see me in the Rumble, and a lot of people would have liked to see me win. That would have put me on the next path of my journey. I saw Big E say in an interview he’d like to see me win, and that was very nice. I appreciate the support of my colleagues, but unfortunately, that did not happen.

Cesaro is considered one of the best technical wrestlers in the entire company. However, him being underbooked is not new phenomenon at all, as he’s been suffering through a lot of neglect for years.

If you’re tuning in to SmackDown to watch me, you will get the top in-ring performance I can give. It’s exciting, it’s unpredictable and it’s fun. I want people to see that every time I’m in the ring, and that consistency and quality is what sets me apart.

The Swiss Superman does not have a lot of time to cut promos like his other few WWE superstars. This is why he chases a standard of performance that gives him the winning look. Regardless, fans want him to get more recognition on screen, as he clearly deserves it.
