Big E Calls For Cesaro To Win The Royal Rumble Next Year

Many consider Cesaro as one of the most criminally underrated WWE Superstars in the history of the company. The Swiss Superman has shown time and time again why he is one of the best in-ring performers in the company. Now it seems even Big E wants to see Cesaro succeed.

It came to such a point that even WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley said he would literally get on his knees and beg Vince McMahon to give Cesaro chance in the company.

Cesaro is a multi-time tag team champion and has won the WWE United States Championship as well. However, in his 8-year tenure in WWE, Cesaro has yet to win a world title in the company.

While speaking on Barstool’s Rasslin’ podcast, Big E was asked who he would like to see win the Royal Rumble match next year. The WWE Champion made it clear that he wants to see Cesaro win the match.

“Oh, that is a great question. I feel like the lazy answers would be, ‘It would be a New Day member, I would say either Kofi or Woods.’ So I will just go with someone who is not that. You know what, let’s give — Cesaro should win the Royal Rumble. Man, Cesaro is so damn good at what he does in the ring. I’d love to see Cesaro get hot again.”

Cesaro also recently teased a match against Brock Lesnar. He was also in the main event scene earlier this year, as he lost to Roman Reigns in a WWE Universal Title match. We will have to wait and see if the company will eventually pull the trigger on him or not.
