Impact star Larry D revealed Tuesday he requested his release from the company. Larry, whose real name is Lawrence Jones, has been with the promotion since December 2019. His signing was quite an emotional in-ring affair with Scott D’Amore offering him the deal.

The 38-year-old took to Twitter to reveal his status with the company. I love @IMPACTWRESTLING with all my heart. I’ve been able to achieve things id never imagine!” he said.

Larry said he’s looking forward to making a name for himself in other promotions. He added that he’ll be open to interviews and podcasts appearances in the coming week.

“With heavy heart I’ve requested my release and am eager to make waves in other markets… I will be accepting podcast, interviews and other media in the coming weeks… much ❤ all! Lets work!!”
