The 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble match was highlighted by Ronda Rousey’s return in the #28 spot. Rousey’s involvement certainly picked up the pace, but it was a match full of surprises.

There were some shocking moments like Zelina Vega eliminating Sasha Banks. Melina’s time in the Royal Rumble was also very short-lived. Sadly, Cameron wasn’t around the match long enough to share the ring with Naomi. Sonya Deville targeted Cameron and eliminated her out of spite. Nikki ASH also turned full heel and eliminated Mighty Molly.

In the end, the final four came down to Shayna Baszler, Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, and Bianca Belair. Rhea Ripley deserves an honorable mention as she came in 5th.

Flair eliminated Belair and Baszler at the same time, leaving only The Queen and The Baddest Woman on the Planet. They had a stare-down before finally getting down to business.

Charlotte Flair went for a running big boot, but Rousey grabbed her and tossed The Queen over the top rope. Ronda Rousey is going to WrestleMania.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
