The Royal Rumble has been been carrying a tradition of keeping several entrants a surprise for the past many years. From John Cena entering the Royal Rumble 2008 to a roaring ovation to MVP making his surprise return at Royal Rumble in 2020, the event has pulled off huge surprises.

Wrestling News recently reported on The Undertaker arriving at a WWE hotel in Saint Louis ahead of Royal Rumble 2022. Fans caught “The Phenom” as he waved towards them, something which suggests that Taker will be at the event to see his wife Michelle McCool perform at the Women’s Royal Rumble match.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Shane McMahon is booked for the Royal Rumble. Bad Bunny is also slated to be there, and more surprises could be in store for fans. Kurt Angle is also expected to attend the event in some capacity this weekend.

WWE shocked fans when they announced current Impact Knockouts World Champion Mickie James as one of the entrants at the upcoming Royal Rumble, prompting many to speculate that the Men’s Royal Rumble could also see surprise entrants.
