Bobby Lashley won the WWE Championship after beating The Miz on Monday Night RAW back in March last year. Since then, he was booked as a very dominant force and had Vince McMahon’s seal of approval. Lashley then lost that title to Big E in a huge moment that fans will always remember.

For the past few months, Bobby Lashley was engaged in a feud with WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg. Bobby Lashley was defeated at the hands of Goldberg at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on October 21st. After a brief absence, he returned to WWE television as well.

Following his return, Lashley earned the right to challenge Big E for the WWE Championship as well. At the WWE Day 1 pay-per-view, Brock Lesnar won the WWE Championship after defeating Big E, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Bobby Lashley. Lashley was the only Superstar who had Lesnar’s number on numerous occasions.

Bobby Lashley then became the #1 contender for Brock Lesnar’s title a couple of weeks ago. The two would have confrontations on Monday Night RAW that set up their feud properly.

While speaking on The Ringer Wrestling podcast, Bobby Lasley talked about retiring from professional wrestling. Lashley revealed that he doesn’t want to wrestle when he is 50.

“I’ll know when it’s time to say when, but I’m far from there. I’m looking at the years and looking at what I believe I can do and I’m like, ‘I don’t believe I should be wrestling when I’m 50 years old,’ but I feel so good now that I don’t know.

If I’m feeling as good as I feel now, two years from now, there is no reason why I can’t. If my appearance fades or I can’t keep on the weight or run with these kids the way they are coming up, I’ll take note of that. Right now, I’m 100% and I think I can run through anybody on the roster right now.”

Brock Lesnar is set to defend his WWE Championship against Bobby Lashley at the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 29th this year. We will have to wait and see who will end up winning the match.
