WWE fans love the Royal Rumble. Every year, there are big surprises that send the crowd into a frenzy. Some of those surprises were announced ahead of time by WWE to promote this year’s premium live event. Among those is that Impact Knockouts Champion Mickie James will compete in the women’s Rumble match. The Bella Twins will also return. Those won’t be the only big names, according to a recent report.
In the past, huge names such as John Cena and others have made returns at the Royal Rumble to massive reactions. This year’s event still has 15 men’s wrestlers and 9 women’s wrestlers yet to be announced. There are sure to be surprises, especially on the women’s end where a thin roster has led WWE to scramble to find able bodies.
The WWE Universe never knows what to expect when the clock hits zero and another wrestler makes their way to the ring. It’s that anticipation that makes the Rumble so unique and special. On today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez noted that there was at least one huge return coming this year.
“As far as the men’s and women’s Rumble, there will be a big return at the Royal Rumble. Hmm. Who could that be?”
The speculation is already running wild about who WWE might be bringing back. Paige has been prominent topic of discussion. Corey Graves is another name that is at the top of lot of fans’ lists. At this point, nobody knows except the writers and talent involved.
The WWE Universe will have to watch the Royal Rumble to find out what surprises Vince McMahon’s company has in store. There will be at least one big return. Time will tell just how big it really is.
