Alexa Bliss competed against Charlotte Flair at Extreme Rules last year. However, that match didn’t end the way Bliss would have liked as she lost in quick fashion against The Queen. It seems Bliss might be going back to her old gimmick.

Since then Alexa Bliss was absent from WWE television for a few months. In actuality, Alexa Bliss underwent sinus surgery, which is why she took time off.

After a lot of anticipation, Alexa Bliss finally made her return during last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. The company played a video of Alexa in a therapy session. Bliss’ character still has supernatural powers and many felt it had Harley Quinn undertones.

This also continued on the next episode of Monday Night RAW as well. On January 19th, WWE applied to trademark “The Goddess.” This was Alexa Bliss’ nickname before she changed to her current darker gimmick in 2020.

From the looks of it, it seems she is likely to go back to her old gimmick. Fans made it clear they were mixed feelings regarding Alexa Bliss’ return. We will have to wait and see how Bliss will be booked in the coming weeks now that she is back.
