Sami Zayn’s WWE contract was quickly coming to an end late last winter. Sami’s good friend Kevin Owens shocked the wrestling world when he signed a huge contract to stay with WWE. Fans wondered when they’d hear some news about Zayn.

Late Thursday, Zayn took to Twitter to ostensibly remark on his decision to continue with WWE. Zayn has reportedly signed a new multi-year contract with WWE, according to Fightful Select.

Sticking around and having fun, that’s the Sami Zayn way.

While there is no information on the contract’s specific length, it might be the three-year agreement that numerous other stars, including Zayn’s good friend Kevin Owens, re-signed for last month. Zayn’s last WWE contract was slated to expire at the end of 2021, therefore there were talks of him signing a new agreement in December.

Zayn promised to “out-Jackass” Johnny Knoxville of Jackass with his own shopping cart stunt on SmackDown this past Friday. Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura levelled Zayn with Kinshasa, and Rick Boogs launched Zayn into crash pads set up ringside for the shopping cart gimmick.

The participation of Zayn and Knoxville in the upcoming 30-Man Royal Rumble Match has been confirmed. Zayn is also the current number one challenger for Nakamura’s championship. Check out Sami Zayn’s tweet below.
