“Pretty” Peter Avalon has been a mainstay on the super popular web series, Being the Elite. Avalon has also been a regular competitor for AEW for years. Peter recently became the subject of much online debate over his standing with the company.

Peter Avalon recently announced that he was opening up his schedule to any and all independent dates. It was not clear at the time what this meant for his status with AEW. Avalon signed with Tony Khan’s company in 2019 and has been there since the very early days.

After Avalon’s announcement, there was some speculation that he may be finished with AEW. Those rumors were soundly snuffed out today. Leva Bates was asked by a fan about Peter’s status with AEW. Bates said he’s still there, just expanding his availability.

“No, he’s still there. Just adding indy dates”

Peter Avalon did work the most recent AEW Dark tapings. The addition of more future independent dates simply means Avalon wants to wrestle more. Peter’s status with AEW is the same as it was before the news.

Being the Elite made Peter Avalon a well-known name among wrestling fans. Avalon leads The Wingmen in AEW and has been a solid comedy heel. It doesn’t sound like the new independent dates will affect his AEW run at all.
