Many fans would agree that WWE’s product has fallen a lot when it comes to quality. The current product has a lot of flaws including 50/50 booking, feuds that don’t go anywhere, teams splitting up for no reason and storylines not making sense. The disinterest of the fans is reflected in the dwindling ratings of Monday Night RAW over the past few years.

This is only the start as fans are also tired of how NXT talents being called up to the main roster are treated. The likes of former WWE Superstar Karrion Kross and Keith Lee are one of many blemishes on WWE’s record.

The company has also built a bad reputation after releasing numerous talents over the past couple of years, leading many to believe no one is truly safe in the company.

While speaking to Inside the Ropes’ Kenny McIntosh, Brit Baker talked about WWE being interested in her. Baker stated that she believes WWE cannot be trusted with anything, which is one of the reasons why she didn’t choose to sign with the company.

“They definitely expressed interest — unfortunately, I’ve got to pick and choose how I say this — but I just feel like you can’t trust anything with that company, whereas at AEW I’ve never been promised anything that didn’t follow through. So it’s something that, unfortunately, it’s sad that it comes down to that, that it makes a company not really desirable because you can’t trust anything they say. And I know business is business, and I understand totally that’s what it is, but as a wrestler, business is business as well.

Everything AEW had done for me, with the growth I’ve had here, most importantly how much fun I have here, I truly love going to work every week; I never dread it and that is something that is invaluable, you can’t ever give that up and if you find something where not a day in your life feels like work then you absolutely can’t give that up. I’m too thankful to AEW and Tony Khan and everybody who has trusted in me, because without them I wouldn’t be where I am right now.”

Britt Baker is more than happy working in AEW, where she is the Women’s World Champion and gets lots of focus. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for her.
