Booker T Believes Comparing Jade Cargill To Goldberg Isn’t Far-Fetched

Jade Cargill has been booked as an unstoppable force in AEW as she has run roughshod over the women’s division. Her imposing stature and physique have certainly helped her in the company. It seems Booker T is all for Jade Cargill’s current push.

Cargill became the first-ever AEW TBS Champion as she defeated fan-favorite Ruby Soho in the finals of the TBS Women’s Eliminator Tournament. Many fans were disappointed at this as they wanted to see Soho become the inaugural champion.

Tony Khan previously compared Jade Cargill’s dominant run to Goldberg’s WCW run as well. While speaking on his Hall Of Fame podcast, Booker T addressed Jade Cargill being compared to Goldberg. Booker T stated that he believes the comparisons aren’t far-fetched.

For her to be compared to Goldberg, I wouldn’t say it’s 100 percent spot-on or anything like that, but I wouldn’t say it’s so far-fetched that it’s something we shouldn’t even be talking about. Both were green. Both were young in the business. Both look so impressive that you can’t do anything other than let them go out there and beat the hell out of somebody. I think Cargill is the prefect person to build something with to where people go, ‘Man, I don’t think she’s gonna ever lose the title.’”

Jade Cargill was always going to win the TBS Women’s Championship as well. We will have to wait and see how Cargill will be booked as the champion in the coming weeks.
