Chris Jericho’s contributions as a pro wrestler need no introduction. He has competed in various promotions all around the globe for three decades. Jericho is also proud to be working in AEW and isn’t afraid to show it. It seems Ric Flair criticized Chris Jericho yet again.

On the other hand, two-time WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair has achieved a lot during his illustrious pro wrestling career and has inspired generations of pro wrestlers.

Many people consider Chris Jericho and Ric Flair to be the greatest of all time when it comes to the pro wrestling world. While speaking on the WOOOOO Nation Uncensored podcast, Ric Flair dismissed Chris Jericho for being the GOAT and mentioned how the likes of Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart are better.

Ric Flair then criticized Chris Jericho’s lack of wrestling fundamentals, which included his inability to do proper punches and kicks in a match.

“I do think Chris Jericho is great. This is not against Chris Jericho. But he nor me, nor a lot of people will ever be on the same level as Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, or Ricky Steamboat.

“Punching and kicking are the fundamentals of the business, neither of which is he necessarily profficient at. He works, he can do the lion-tamer, all the flips everything in the world, and this has nothing. But the guys that are the great ones are the guys that never ever miss anything by that be a punch, kick, whatever, whatever calls for it. Does that make sense to you?”

Chris Jericho was also called this generation’s Ric Flair by Diamond Dallas Page recently. Ric Flair also previously made it clear that he will never go back to WWE again. It remains to be seen if Flair will wrestle another match or not in the future as WWE is clearly no longer in the picture.
