Shinsuke Nakamura is WWE IC Champion, but he hasn’t been able to compete lately. There is a reason for that, because the King of Strong Style is injured.

Rick Boogs and Nakamura’s tandem is becoming a very popular one on WWE television. Nakamura’s guitarist spilled the beans recently and revealed to the “Out of Character” podcast that Shinsuke Nakamura is out of action with a hand injury.

This revelation came as Boogs said that he feels WWE has only scratched the surface with their partnership.

“I think it’s inevitable that it’s gonna happen,” he said. “I’m not looking to like rush it by any means because I feel like me and Shin have not even scratched the surface yet of what we can do together, combining our forces. We’re just getting cooking here.

“We’ve only had a couple of tag matches together. And he suffered a hand injury that’s kept him out for close to two months now it seems like. So, I’m kind of just looking forward as of right now for him to be healthy and cleared and then us just kick some tail. And then from there, down the road we’ll branch off. I’m in no rush with that.”

We’re hoping that Nakamura’s injury heals up fast. He’s experiences injuries before and they’re never fun, no matter where they occur. One thing is for sure, WWE certainly needs as many names that they can get and Shinsuke Nakamura is still a fan favorite.
