Bully Ray Thinks CM Punk Was Legitimately Angry After Brutally Honest MJF Lines

MJF has been touted as one of the defining heels of the current generation of pro wrestlers and it is not difficult to understand why. MJF became huge star in AEW in a short time and since then has consistently delivered in his feuds. It seems Bully Ray has an interesting take on MJF and CM Punk’s latest war of words.

MJF and CM Punk have been at each other’s throats for the past couple of months, leading to some of the best promo battles in recent memory. On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, CM Punk and MJF once again engaged in a heated promo battle where both of them threw barbs at each other. This included MJF making fun of CM Punk for never main eventing WrestleMania.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray talked about CM Punk and MJF’s latest promo battle. Bully Ray stated that he thinks MJF’s brutally honest lines legitimately made CM Punk angry.

“It’s not a made-up line, it’s dead-on balls-accurate truth. And guess what? Punk don’t like those truths being thrown in his face. You could see it in the phony smile that comes over his face.

It’s like when a boxer gets tagged in the ring with a great shot and they smile and they try to laugh it off. All that smile says is, ‘Yeah, you got me and you got me good.’ MJF is not pulling sh*t out of thin air.

He’s hitting him straight between the eyes with brutal honesty and whether or not they discussed it, it doesn’t matter. There’s so many things that you can hit Punk with that can land death blows on him it’s not funny.

All those smoke and mirrors that he used can go away in the snap of a finger and MJF knows how to do it.”

MJF also recently said that he is an attraction like Andre The Giant. Bully Ray also believes that MJF could verbally eviscerate CM Punk. We will have to wait and see how AEW will book CM Punk and MJF’s feud in the coming weeks as it continues to intensify every week.
