WWE had to deal with another outbreak of COVID-19 on their roster and that called for them to produce RAW this week in a very short-handed situation.

Ringside News was first to exclusively report that Bruce Prichard was not there this week. Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn also missed the show. This was also exclusively reported by Ringside News. They had a lot of missing spots this week.

Fightful Select reports that they had an extreme lack of staff backstage for RAW this week. In fact, it was called “the most skeleton of crews.”

Those we spoke to said that this was “the most skeleton of crews” that several had seen at a WWE televised show with fans in attendance. One person referenced an ongoing conversation about it, saying that there were many times you’d seem more people around backstage at WWE Performance Center Raws than the December 27 edition

Hopefully, WWE won’t have to deal with another outbreak on their roster. The pandemic is far from over and it is affecting each portion of the globe in a different way. WWE will continue on with their plans as usual, only time will tell how long it will take before COVID-19 isn’t a constant worry in everyday life.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
