Bruce Prichard’s return to WWE saw him take on the role of Executive Director of SmackDown. Paul Heyman was over Raw, but then he was soon relieved of that position; and Prichard took over the helm of both show’s writing team. He has been absent for the past few weeks and it is quite a mystery.

Ringside News was told by a tenured member of the creative team that Bruce Prichard has missed shows recently. He also isn’t there for Raw yet today as of around 4:00 PM EST.

We were told that “Bruce Prichard not at RAW again today, he’s been missing multiple shows lately, and no one knows why.”

Ed Koskey is filling in for Bruce Prichard while he’s away. So, the mood among the writing team doesn’t have that Bruce Prichard vibe over it right now.

WWE Day 1 is this Saturday and there are several missing names backstage. As of this writing, we can confirm that zero matches have been nixed or changed yet. Hopefully, they will not need to alter their pay-per-view. As Ringside News exclusively reported, WWE is prepared for all scenarios.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
