Adam Cole’s contributions to NXT after making his debut back in 2017 cannot be understated. He competed in several of the brand’s best matches and helped shape NXT for 4 years.

In the end, Adam Cole decided that he wanted to be All Elite and so made his debut at AEW All Out and utterly shocked the pro wrestling world to its core. He aligned himself with the Young Bucks right after that.

Bobby Fish eventually made his way to AEW and has been teaming up with Adam Cole already. Even Kyle O’Reilly showed up last week on AEW Dynamite. As seen on this week’s episode, The Undisputed Era squared off against The Best Friends.

While The Undisputed Era won the match, it also featured an angle where O’Reilly accidentally kicked Adam Cole during the match and this led to Cole not celebrating with Fish and O’Reilly after the match. There was visible tension between him and O’Reilly as Cole watched on along with The Young Bucks.

On the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about the angle and stated that the company is likely building up a feud between The Undisputed Era and The Elite, once Kenny Omega comes back.

So they’re teasing that it could be Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly against the Young Bucks and Adam Cole maybe having to pick a side. I mean the logical one is for him to pick Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly and whenever Kenny Omega comes back, whenever that is, that’s the big feud which should be a kinda incredible feud when that actually happens.

There is certainly a lot of history between Adam Cole and both factions, so it remains to be seen how they will slowly build towards the likely feud between The Undisputed and The Elite.
