Update: Toni Storm reportedly requested her WWE release.

Original: Toni Storm’s WWE main roster debut was followed by lot of waiting. Now her time with the company is over just as it appeared things were picking up for her.

WWE released a ton of talent and staff throughout 2021 with “budget cuts” as the reason. Now one more release is joining that long list, but the reason is unknown at this time.

According to Sean Sapp, Toni Storm was released from her WWE contract. Details are sketchy at this time, but we do know that she is no longer under contract. She will likely be under a 90-day non-compete clause.

It was also reported that this news was confirmed by sources within WWE. There is likely a lot more to this story, but at this time we do not know all of the details.

Sapp further tweeted out to say, “I’m working on getting additional details. As of now I don’t know what caused the departure, or anything beyond that she’s no longer with the company and WWE confirmed as much.”
