Keith Lee has been taking time since his release from WWE to figure out what the next step in his career will be. After a standout independent run that saw stops in Ring of Honor, and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, he finally got what he thought would be his big break when he signed with WWE in the Spring of 2018. In typical WWE fashion, the company is making as much money as they possibly can.

Lee had a very solid run in NXT. He won both singles titles on the developmental brand. Many believed he was a major star in the making for the company.

Keith was finally called up to the main roster in the Summer of 2020. His run there was far less successful. WWE gave him a series of rebrands including the bizarre choice to change his name to Bearcat Lee. He was released shortly after.

A fan on Twitter recently told Lee that they still watch WWE. The fan does so in the hopes that their favorite wrestler might just show up. Keith told the fan to give up on that dream.

“You should probably stop that then. They’ve made enough money off my name since I’ve been gone lol.”

Keith Lee was a little more diplomatic in the immediate aftermath of his release. Now he doesn’t seem to have time for it. He wants fans to know that if they want to see him wrestle, they should tune out when it comes to WWE.
