NXT 2.0 debuted in September and brought about significant number of changes to the product. However, not all of the changes were met with a positive reception. This is especially the case when it came to the overall presentation and feel of NXT and also the new talents.

NXT 2.0 came about after undergoing a variety of changes compared to the previous version of NXT. This is especially true regarding the kinds of talent the company hires now.

With a fresh look and coat of paint, came a new sense of direction which has seen a new set of WWE Superstars, especially the likes of Bron Breakker. However, not every talent has been seen in a good light by fans.

While speaking with Busted Open Radio, Reed, who now goes by the name JONAH, talked about his time in WWE. Jonah then shared his thoughts on NXT 2.0, as he criticized it for being just another product made by WWE.

“You know, a couple of years ago when NXT got that USA deal, Hunter sat us all down and said how we are this third brand. I think there was that comradery backstage that we wanted to make this show as special as possible. It was the wrestling show, we still got freedom and stuff like that on Wednesdays. Now it seems a little bit, and again, I’m not going to diss anyone that’s on NXT 2.0, I still have friends there, but it is very much just another WWE product. It doesn’t feel like something different for them.”

JONAH made his debut in NJPW last month and since then has been having a great time wrestling everywhere he wants to. He was also announced as the first entrant in PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles tournament, which will be held on January 29 and 30 next year.
