AJ Styles has been touted as one of the best pro wrestlers by both fans and wrestlers alike. It seems there is a reason for his upcoming appearance on NXT 2.0 this week.
AJ Styles made a name for himself in the independent circuit, especially TNA and then NJPW before he made his way to WWE. It was also announced that AJ Styles will be appearing on NXT 2.0 this week. He will have something to do with Grayson Waller.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the reason for AJ Styles’ appearance is likely due to NXT 2.0 going against NFL on Tuesday, where they are expected to get destroyed.
“So they’re going against the NFL on Tuesday for the first time in history. So, they should get destroyed. So, that’s probably the deal.”
Since his appearance in the 2016 Royal Rumble, AJ Styles has cemented himself as one of the best in-ring workers in all of WWE. He has had great matches with several big names in the company. He also drives fan interest, and that is the plan.
It has not been a good time for AJ Styles as Omos turned on him on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW as well, effectively breaking up their tag team. We will have to wait and see what AJ Styles will do in NXT 2.0.
