Bryan Danielson came into All Elite Wrestling at the top of his game. He’s being presented as an absolute killer. Bryan won the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament to become the #1 contender for the world title. The American Dragon will reach what he says is the peak of his career when he challenges Hangman Adam Page for the AEW World Championship on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite..

To promote tonight’s big match, Danielson talked to the Dallas Morning News. He was asked which wrestlers he’d like to get involved in a promo war with. Danielson had a few people in mind.

“Oh, gosh. Obviously, MJF because he’s such a loud-mouth, and he’s such a loud-mouth backstage, too, I think that would be fun. I know that’s the easy answer – oh no, that’s not the easy answer – Eddie Kingston would be good, too. Gosh. He and I have such great banter backstage. [laughs] That would be very good for our sakes. And Punk – now, you’re talking about like ‘Yeah, you’re picking four people…’

Aside from the question about who he’d like to duel on the mic against, Danielson was asked about his pro wrestling Mount Rushmore. It’s become a popular question in wrestling media interviews. The Rock recently shared his. Danielson didn’t want to answer the question because of its subjectivity.

“That’s impossible. The problem with any of this is wresting is so subjective. And, from my own experience, if you were to say who do I want to watch the most today? I would say [any wrestler], and you would be like, ‘Who?’ [laughs] And that would change tomorrow depending on my mood or whatever it is. … So, I’m going to decline that answer, for posterity.”

It will be interesting to see if Bryan Danielson leaves tonight’s event with as the new AEW World Champion. Check back to Ringside News at 8PM ET for the live coverage of that show.
