This week’s episode of AEW Rampage is set to feature three matches, one being a female match. Tay Conti and Penelope Ford will receive an opportunity to take their feud to the ring in a submission match.

Eddie Kingston will team with the Lucha Bros to take on Daniel Garicia and 2Point0. That match should give them a chance to blow off some steam.

Also, the SuperKliq will reunite with Bobby Fish to face The Best Friends, Orange Cassidy, and Rocky Romero. Dan Lambert is set to make his return to AEW television.

Young Bucks, Bobby Fish & Adam Cole vs Best Friends, Orange Cassidy, & Rocky Romero

This match kicked off the show after Tony Khan came out to address the crowd. The Texas crowd was very happy to see this match and it lead off the night. In the end, Trent pinned Bobby Fish to get the win. This was a big win for the Best Friends.

Dan Lambert returns

Dan Lambert came out next and he cut a promo. He is an absolute heat magnet. Then Cody Rhodes, AEW’s ultimate babyface, interrupted him. Scorpio Sky was also out with Ethan Page for the segment. Cody started brawling with them and the American Nightmare caught a beatdown. Then Dustin Rhodes ran out for the save and Sammy Guevara ran out to help them when Dustin started getting hit too much.

Tay Conti vs Penelope Ford – Submission match

The women didn’t get a ton of time for this match. The Bunny was with Penelope Ford and Anna Jay had Tay Conti’s corner. In the end, Tay Conti won to further her ongoing push in the company.

Eddie Kingston, Penta, Fenix vs Daniel Garcia & 2Point0

This match capped off the night. As expected, several people left throughout the Dynamite broadcast. Bodyslam.net’s Cassidy Haynes told us that it appears they changed things around by making the contest the Lucha Bros and Santana & Ortiz vs Daniel Garcia vs 2Point0. Penta and Fenix are super over with the fans, as expected. In the end, Garcia and 2Point0 won the match.
