Briscoe Brothers Likely To Sign With AEW

The Briscoes are certainly one of the most established and decorated tag teams in all of professional wrestling. They have competed all over the world in various promotions. It seems they might make their way to AEW.

At ROH Final Battle, The Briscoes challenged any tag team to step up to them, after they had just won the ROH Tag Team Titles for the record 12th time.

FTR made an appearance and confronted The Briscoes as the two then duked it out in a huge brawl. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, The Briscoes are likely to sign with AEW as even FTR made it clear they want to face them.

“The Briscoes aren’t going to WWE anyway so maybe [Tony Khan] is picking up some of these guys — which I expected him to pick up some of these guys — and the Briscoes, I mean it’s not like they need another tag team, but the Briscoes are great, so it’s a good addition and the Briscoes and FTR … FTR has wanted to face the Briscoes, and they’ve wanted that for years.”

ROH is now taking a hiatus until 2022 and with the future 6or many talents up in the air right now, it remains to be seen whether they will sign with AEW or not.
