Braun Strowman’s release from WWE earlier this year truly shocked the pro wrestling world to its core. Since then many wondered what he would do next. It seems ROH bringing him in might not be a good idea. After all, Strowman’s asking price is huge.

After several months of teases and speculation, Braun Strowman finally made his debut at ROH Final Battle. Going by the name Titan, he laid waste to anyone in front of him.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, it was said that ROH bringing in Braun Strowman could be stupid of he came at anywhere near his asking price, instead of as a favor to EC3 or as a way to make it to Impact Wrestling or AEW.

“They could go to AEW, it’s not like, I mean they could. The thing that I thought about the ‘Titan’ Adam Scherr is that unless, you know if he’s going to Impact and this is an angle to get him to Impact, or AEW for that matter, then this makes sense; and if he came in because EC3 asked him for a favor then that’s fine too, but if he came at anywhere near his asking price it’s just kinda weird.

Someone like him, I mean it’s one thing if you do a surprise because you’re building for the next month’s card, but to pay someone to come in to do a lame duck last show of the promotion when you don’t advertise him when someone like him might sell some tickets, that’s like, you know that’s getting way too deep into the stupidity.

Like I said, if he came in for a low price for future business for future business for a company he’s going to then that makes sense. If he came in because ROH paid him a sh*t-load of money to have him as a surprise on their last pay-per-view and they didn’t advertise him then that boggles my mind stupidity, because that makes no sense whatsoever.”

With ROH now in hiatus, it remains to be seen what is next in store for Braun Strowman. Odds are, he might just make his way to Impact Wrestling.
