Chris Jericho was recently hospitalized during his band’s tour of the UK. Fozzy cancelled their scheduled show at the Sin City nightclub in Swansea, Wales. The venue announced that Le Champion was hospitalized with a non-COVID health problem.

Jericho gave fans an update on his condition to the Wrestling Observer. He says things weren’t that serious. He was being kept for observation. Jericho stated that he is feeling good.

“I’m feeling good. They just wanted to observe me overnight and I’m in the right place. Not COVID related.”

The last time Jericho appeared on AEW television before going out on the overseas tour was on the December 1 Dynamite. 2point0 and Daniel Garcia attacked him to get him off the show while the band embarked on their trip. His last match was the Minneapolis Street Fight with American Top Team vs The Inner Circle at the Full Gear PPV.

It sounds like Chris Jericho is getting the best care available and will make a full recovery. According to the band’s website, their next scheduled gig is tomorrow at Rescue Rooms in Nottingham, England. It remains to be seen if Jericho will be able to perform.

Fozzys tour began in late November with a show in Liverpool, England. They traversed the region, playing shows in Ireland, Northern Ireland, and several cities in England. The Swansea date was the only show scheduled for Wales. The staff here at Ringside News wishes Chris Jericho a quick and full recovery!
