Kofi Kingston Talks About Possibility Of A New Day Triple Threat Match

The New Day is one of the most successful factions in modern wrestling history. Kofi Kingston is former world champion. Big E is the current WWE Champion. Xavier Woods won the 2021 King of the Ring and has gone on to further fame as a television host and YouTuber. They hold countless tag team championships together as a unit.

Since their inception, fans have wondered if The New Day would ever split up and feud. Most of the time, members have met that idea with skepticism. Speaking with Cerrito Entertainment, Kingston shared his thoughts on a potential triple threat match between the New Day members.

“There are no cracks in our foundation in the house of the New Day. That’s the thing. It’s that when one of us wins, all of us win. So we are just out there winning, doing what we do.

For years, since 2016, everybody has talked about, ‘One of you guys has to turn each other and this is what you have to do to succeed, you gotta go out there and take your own well-being into consideration cause you should be more jealous of the success of your partners.’ I said, look at all the success we have had over the years.”

For the time being, Kofi Kingston and The New Day are as strong as ever. It would be more unique to never break up the group than it would to have them feud. Following established formulas isn’t what brought them to the dance to begin with.

Since forming in 2014, The New Day has gone on to incredible success. Kofi and Big E are both one-time WWE Champions. Big E is a former Intercontinental Champion as a member. The group has amassed 11 tag team championships between its three members. Kofi Kingston sees no reason to end it any time soon.
