Brock Lesnar showed up on SmackDown this week as his suspension was lifted. He went straight for Roman Reigns, but Sami Zayn strangely stood in his way. This is when the Beast Incarnate convinced Zayn to take his title match that night. This set up an even bigger confrontation for Lesnar at Day 1.

Brock Lesnar was on hand when Roman Reigns defended his Universal Title against Sami Zayn. The Beast Incarnate already had dibs on the winner on January 1st.

In the end, Sami Zayn took a couple of suplexes from Lesnar because the Beast Incarnate didn’t like his promo work. Then he took an F5 before Lesnar propped him up in the corner.

Reigns then hit a spear and applied a guillotine lock for the win. This sets up Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns at Day 1 on January 1st.
