Bray Wyatt was released from WWE back in July and it utterly shocked the pro wrestling industry. Jim Ross even previously stated that Wyatt’s release from WWE proved that the company has bad management. Several people simply couldn’t understand why he was even released.

Fans protested against his release as ‘We Want Wyatt’ chants broke out on Monday Night RAW and even made a ruckus during SummerSlam back in August. Many fans also wondered whether Bray Wyatt will be making his way to AEW after this release from the company.

Bray Wyatt’s Fiend character was one of the most creative gimmicks in the company’s history. In a creatively restricted environment such as WWE, fans wondered how much creative control Wyatt really had.

While speaking on his Woo Nation podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair talked about Bray Wyatt possibly joining AEW. Flair stated that the company should definitely hire Bray Wyatt.

“I most definitely would hire Bray Wyatt, I’m a huge fan of his. The kid can work and talk and he comes up with some incredible ideas. I know you aren’t crazy about those gimmicks but when you think that he put the time and effort, those were his thought process. Plus, he’s legit, he’s a tough kid, he’s an amateur wrestler, played football at Troy.

I’m just a big fan of his. I like his brother a lot too. You couldn’t find a handsomer more athletic guy. I think if I’m going to hire one more guy, I’d hire Bray Wyatt.

The last guy I would have fired if I were Vince would have been Bray Wyatt. So, there must have been something there that I’m missing.”

Bray Wyatt’s first post-WWE appearance was already previously announced. Bray Wyatt’s creative genius was ultimately squandered in WWE according to many fans. It remains to be seen what is next in store for the former Eater Of Worlds.
