Adam Cole’s contributions to NXT after making his debut back in 2017 cannot be understated. He competed in several of the brand’s best matches and helped shape NXT for 4 years. It seems Ric Flair has a high opinion of Adam Cole.

In the end, Adam Cole decided that he wanted to be All Elite and so made his debut at AEW All Out and utterly shocked the pro wrestling world to its core. Cole has already become one of the mainstays of the AEW television and fans are always excited to see him every week.

Cole’s debut was followed by Bryan Danielson’s as well, who is now one of the mainstays of the company. While speaking on his Wooooo Nation Uncensored, WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair discussed Adam COle’s future in AEW. Flair stated that he thinks Adam Cole has gotten over better than CM Punk and Bryan Danielson.

“I do believe he has gotten over better than CM Punk or Bryan Danielson. I would not turn him into a babyface. I would fight the other way. He is a good heel. When you find a handsome heel that can work, and tell you ‘I’m better looking than you and I’m better than you’, I stick with that guy. The fans are forcing us? The fans should never force the promotion to turn the guy or the woman. The barometer should be, let them do what they are best at and if they are really good, as he has been as a heel for instance, it is the tweeners that get lost. Once you start changing that formula around the tweeners get lost.”
