Ric Flair has wrestled the best of the best and the greatest of the greats. He has never tangled with a Spanish God.

The Nature Boy was offered a match against AEW wrestler Sammy Guevara for one hundred thousand dollars. The 72-year-old spoke about the proposed contest during the latest episode of his WOOOOO Nation UNCENSORED podcast.

The 16-time world champion said he told a promoter in Israel he would wrestle the reigning AEW TNT Champion for $100,000. “Yea. listen. It’s funny you brought that up because there’s a promoter in Israel that wants me to wrestle your buddy, Sammy Guevara, in Israel,” he told podcast host Mark Madden.

“I said, ‘$100,000 and two first class tickets and I’m there. 50% and 50 % after I beat Sammy (he laughs),” he continued. The WWE Hall of Famer noted that he believes he’s in better shape now compared to the way he was during his final WCW match in 2001.

Flair, who debuted his podcast last week with longtime associate Madden, recently blasted WWE for allegedly “erasing” his legacy. The former WWE champion also revealed he does not intend to return to his former employer as long as Nick Khan is in-charge.

The former WCW champion was let go from WWE in August this year. He has since thrashed the company on multiple occasions, claiming the company tried to make him sign over his intellectual property to them while Flair was on life support.
