Fans of The Miz definitely know his father, George Mizanin, the former sandwich shop owner. He once interjected himself in a match and feud in WWE between his son and Shane McMahon.

Of course fans of The Miz can also see good old George on many episodes of the reality show based on Miz’s life, Miz and Mrs, and the man is always good for a laugh. To say he’s a fan favorite would be putting it mildly for sure.

Well, it would turn out that he has interjected himself into the world of professional wrestling once again. This time it was at an indie show. It was specifically at a Absolute Intense Wrestling show that George was seated front row, and when the action made it’s way to his vicinity, he decided to go ahead and partake in the melee unfolding ringside.

The event was Hell on Earth 16 and the match in question featured Josh Bishop, Wes Barkley & Josh Prohibition, the tree of them taking on Philly Collins, Marino Tenaglia and of course Matt Cardona.

So what did he do? Well, he managed a pretty impressive chop to Philly Collins during the ringside action and it made Matt Cardona a tad upset or so it seemed. Cardona responded with this Tweet:

F*** You George,” Cardona wrote simply.

Of course Cardona was featured on Miz and Mrs frequently as well, and fans know full well that the two are friends, so Cardona’s keeping up with a good dose of some good old kayfabe it would seem.

About getting into the ring, Mizanin once stated:

“It’s amazing what they can do with somebody in the ring at WrestleMania, and Shane [McMahon] told me… I wasn’t supposed to get in the ring, but he told me, ‘Whatever happens, just follow my lead’ as he was calling me into the ring, and I thought, ‘What’s going on? I’m not supposed to get in the ring’, and I got in the ring,”

What’s left to determine is, will fans be seeing George Mizanin at another AIW show? Odds are likely in that favor, it would seem.
