EC3’s career in WWE has been largely criticized by fans as the company has underutilized him on the main roster. He eventually parted ways with WWE last year. It seems he is interested in going to AEW as well.

After his departure, EC3 made his return to Impact Wrestling where he had a brief stint. After that, he made his way to ROH. EC3 is a former 4-time 24/7 Champion and once even lobbied for a future match against John Cena.

While speaking on UnSKripted, EC3 said he could see himself in AEW or anywhere where the idea of controlling his own narrative continues. EC3 also added that he has an interest in AEW as he wants to face off against Jon Moxley.

“I can envision myself infiltrating and expanding my idea everywhere, and AEW would obviously be a target. Moxley is a hell of a guy. I have a match that I do want to have, which is a true battle with that man. I think he can bring the best out of me and I can do the same to him. We’re different but also like-minded.

He’s an incredible talent, always works hard but he’s stoic which I respect and enjoy. He’s not afraid to get his hands dirty, he’s not afraid to get rough, raw, and bring it. He’s not, nor am I, a pretty wrestler so to speak. It’s not clean or choreographed looking but it’s realistic and gritty which is what I like. If I’m rolling around in thumbtacks and glass with that dude on a big stage, yeah, I’d be cool with it.”

EC3 is currently busy with various projects outside of pro wrestling. Regardless, it remains to be seen whether he will make his way to AEW or not in the future and feud with Jon Moxley.
