Former WWE Superstar EC3 had a lackluster run in the company according to many fans as he was not booked well at all. After his departure, EC3 made his return to Impact Wrestling where he had a brief stint. After that, he made his way to ROH. EC3 is a former 4-time 24/7 Champion and it seems he is keen on having a program with John Cena somewhere down the line.
EC3 recently spoke to WrestleTalk, where he talked about dream opponents he wanted to face. EC3 also mentioned a potential feud with John Cena. The former WWE Superstar pointed out that he and Cena have quite a few similarities.
He believes that fans would certainly enjoy a feud between the two as would be real, so EC3 would definitely wants Cena in the narrative.
”Cena probably would be my top pick, because that’s another guy, but you know he’s making real movies now so, that’s cool. With him, I see a lot of similarities with him and me, and there’s differences, like I got to know him personally a little bit. But at the same time, he was kind of on that bubble at one point, but then it all switched for him, and he took off to become one of the biggest names of all time. I was on that bubble too, but it didn’t turn for me and I catastrophically got shipped out.’So, there’s a great story there that’s real and resonates, like what could have been if these roles were reversed in a different time, whatever. That’s something I’d love to explore. Do I want him in the narrative? Yeah, I want him in the f**king narrative.”
We will have to see if EC3 will ever cross paths with John Cena.
