Dexter Lumis was given rough beatdown on the November 16th’s NXT 2.0. The NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes teamed up with Trick Williams in order to given a lethal treatment. That included Hayes & Williams hitting Lumis’ arm with a steel chair.

Indi Hartwell made the observation that Lumis has incurred a rather unfortunate injury. He’d broken his hand as well as a few metacarpals after the serious onslaught. Hartwell added that he will be out of the ring for an entire month. That might not be case now.

Indi and her tag team partner, Persia Pirotta were factoring Lumis’ injury into their storyline. Trick and Carmelo took Lumis’ ability to use his hands to both draw and fight, which drove the storyline around her husband. Indi even tweeted, “Taking my husband’s art away from him hurts more than any injury.”

The subsequent match where Indi and Persia took on Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro. Indi’s worry of her husband led to Persia taking on both of their responsibility, and they inevitably faced the loss.

Persia’s willingness to take on both of their weight on her shoulders ended up proving to be an asset. In a 2-1 Handicap match against Gabby Stephens and Jenna Levy, Perisa emerged victorious. While Lumis’ injury might take longer, his onscreen wife is there to keep him company. Indi said that
