Ronda Rousey Isn’t Sure If She’s Still Under WWE Contract

Ronda Rousey surprised fans with her initial run with WWE. She was natural in the business and even main evented WrestleMania 35. After her three-way match with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair at Mania, she took some time off to start a family.

During a recent Facebook gaming stream, Ronda was asked by a fan if she’s still signed to WWE. She said she’s not sure. You’d have to ask her lawyers.

“[Person in chatroom] is asking if I’m still under contract with WWE. I technically — I don’t think I am. But who knows? That’s a question for the lawyers.”

Ronday Rousey’s WWE contract reportedly ended in April of this year. WWE would certainly welcome her back with open arms if she decided to return. When that happens will be up to Rousey herself.

On the same stream, Rousey talked about her relationship with Stephanie McMahon. She says she hasn’t talked to Triple H since his heart procedure. She does frequently speak with McMahon, though.

I actually keep in touch with Steph [McMahon] because she’s sweet and we send each other baby pictures. I haven’t talked to Triple H since before he had his — he had like a heart surgery or something. Hope he’s doing all right.”

Ronda Rousey is one of the most recognizable personalities in all of sports and entertainment. She was the first female champion in UFC and dominated mixed martial arts for years. Her run in WWE led her to become a Raw Women’s Champion.
