Jaxson Ryker had a tremendous amount of heat on him when he tweeted out pro Donald Trump sentiments during the height of the Black Lives Matter movement. Then he was released well over a year later after being brought back to television and repackaged.

According to Fightful Select, Ryker tried to lay low for a while as his initial heat died down. there were many people who spoke about what Ryker said and how they took issue to it. It was also the reason why the entire Forgotten Sons faction was taken off television.

In reality, a lot of people expected Jaxson Ryker to be involved in an eariler round of cuts, but that didn’t happen. His name finally came up in the last set of cuts.

Most expected him to be a part of earlier cuts, and one source in creative said that it was evident that the character wasn’t getting over when fans returned, calling it an “uphill battle to get a reaction.”

We’ll have to see what Jaxson Ryker does next in his career. He seems confident that his path will end up taking him to better things. Now fans will have to watch him perform in a venue that isn’t operated by Vince McMahon.
